As promised, details of my travels in Europe. First up, Berlin!
Berlin, I really can’t say enough good things about this city. I completely fell for this Berlin. I’m not going to choose a favor city, but if I had to…
Well Berlin might just top that list. So let’s get to a recap.
Berlin is such a special city just full of history. I found it simply fascinating to see the changes going in there; a progressive present mixing with the city’s past. It’s creating great energy, especially in the youth. You can just feel the enerfy pulsing through the city.
Daytime, what to do in the day. Well there is a lot to do. Site seeing, there are so many historical monuments to check out. Loads of walking, which is something I lovet o do in a city. There are bike trails all over, even one to an island. If biking is not your fancy there are plenty of awesome “beach” bars, pools, and parks. Plus loads of street art to gaze at. I actually took a walking tour loosely based on exploring some of the more famous street art pieces.
Night time is on fire. Berlin is well known for its nightlife. There are great restaurants like any good big city will have sprinkled through the many districts. Plus endless bars, beer gardens, and clubs. I’m told some of the best clubs in the world. I would never say I’m a club person but these are next level and have to be experienced. Here’s a tip though, take a nap first. You’ll need your energy and you will be up late. Definitely stop by one of the many photo booths scattered all over the city. I thought these were pretty damn cool. And preferably after a night out.
Here’s a list of things I did, things I saw, places I went. Hope this helps planning your trip to one of of my favorite cities.
