It’s no surprise that I love my smoothies. I often opt for a thick, creamy, berry banana combo, but sometimes crave something more cooling and filled with more greens. Although this smoothie contains a hefty amount of vegetables, the banana and pineapple make it sweet enough so it doesn’t taste like a liquid salad. No bueno. And for the herbs, which I know sounds strange, it adds a very delicious freshness to the smoothie. Feel free to half the amount of cilantro/parsley though if it’s really not your taste. The pineapple can be subbed with mango, apple, more banana, but do add some fruit because, again, you don’t want a liquid salad!

This smoothie is cooling, refreshing, and delicious. Plus it’s LOADED with vitamins, minerals, and protein. The herbs and celery help pull toxins while the cucumber is great for hydration. I’ve got more info on why parsley and pineapple are so beneficial here.
