But for this dill pickle chicken salad recipe, we are adding some subtle flavor pops with pickle juice, chopped dill pickle, and fresh dill. There’s such good flavor!
A good chicken salad recipe is something I like to keep on hand for weeks I feel the need for some healthy quick meals. You can make a big bowl of chicken salad and then use it for sandwiches, salads, wraps, or just scooped up with some good chips. So easy, so healthy.
Ingredients needed for the Dill pickle chicken salad
- Shredded Chicken
- Mayonnaise (favorite)
- Plain greek yogurt
- Dill pickle juice
- Chopped dill pickle
- Green onion
- Fresh dill
- Red onion
- Salt & pepper
How to make Dill Pickle chicken salad
- Place all ingredients in a bowl. (love these ones)
- Mix and enjoy. It’s that simple
- Place any leftovers in the fridge for 3-5 days.
- Enjoy the chicken in a salad, sandwich, or scooped up with chips or crackers.
Tips for the Chicken Salad
- If you do meal planning, cook the chicken ahead of time. You can also buy precooked chicken or rotisserie.
- This recipe makes 2 sandwiches, I sometimes double the recipe so we can get a few more meals out of this.
- The pickle flavoring is not too strong so if you like a lot of pickles, add more juice and more chopped pickle.
- If you don’t like pickles and you’ve made it this far reading, you can skip the pickle.

Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded chicken
- 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp pickle juice
- 1/2 cup chopped dill pickle
- 2 green onions chopped
