Cuisine American
- 2 lb Ground beef
- 1/4 cup ketchup try for a no-sugar added
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 2 tbsp worchestirshire sauce
- 1 onion, diced
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- salt & pepper
Preheat the oven to 350 F.
Start by saute the onion. Y for about 5 minutes. Soak the breadcrumbs with the milk in a small bowl.
Take a big bowl and add all the ingredients, including the onion and breadcrumbs. You can mix with a big spoon, but clean hands do the best job.
I take a piece of parchment paper and lay it on a baking sheet. Plop down the mixture. Then mold the meat with clean hands into a rectangle, about 2 inches thick. You can use a bread tin instead but I find that it takes a lot longer to cook that way.
Bake for 30 minutes, then you can broil for a few minutes if you want to get a little crust on top.
Enjoy!
