Almond Flour Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/2 cups almond flour not almond meal
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 6 tbsp melted then cooled butter
  • 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips I like mini chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350.
  • Whisk the dry ingredients, the flour, salt, and baking powder in a medium bowl. Stir in the wet ingredients. Then stir in the chocolate chips
  • If you can refrigerate for about 10 minutes, do that. Then spoon out into 12 cookies. You can skip straight to spooning out the dough if you can't refrigerate. Cook 10-12 minutes until the edges start to brown.
  • Leave on the baking sheet for a few minutes after removing them from the oven. Then move to a wire rack to cool. Store leftovers in the refrigerator in a covered dish.
