Crockpot Lasagna

Ingredients
  

  • 1 32oz jar of your favorite tomato sauce one with a lot of flavor
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground Italian sausage I use mild but use what you like
  • 6-7 sheets lasagna noodles
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozarella more if you prefer. non dairy too if you want it vegan

Instructions
 

  • Start by browning the meat over medium (just above medium to get it brown) and break meat up. This will take about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper then remove any fat. Pour in sauce. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Now layer the lasagna. Start by spreading 1 cup of sauce on the bottom of the crockpot. Then lay about 3-4 noodles. You want it covered so you will have to break the sheets up a bit. Add another cup and a half of sauce, then gently spread the ricotta. Add another layer of noodles, breaking any up to fit. Add the rest of the sauce and completely cover the noodles. push any parts sticking out. Top with mozzarella.
  • Cover and cook on high for about 3-4 hours or low for about 6 hours. Enjoy!
