Ingredients
  

  • 24 wonton wrappers or 6 egg roll wrappers cut into 4 3x3 squares
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • taco toppings like guacamole, cheese, sour cream

Equipment

  • 1 muffin tin
  • 1 skillet

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Prepare the taco meat by cooking the onion with a little salt for several minutes until soft.
  3. Add the garlic with the taco seasoning and cook for a minute. Add another pinch of salt.
  4. Add the taco meat and use a wooden spoon to break it down. Cook for 10 minutes until browned.
  5. To make the taco 'shells' layer two wonton pieces or two egg roll wrappers per muffin. Overlap to cover the bottom. They will hang over the edge slightly. Bake for 3 minutes. Remove then evenly fill with the taco meat.
  6. Bake for another 10 minites. Remove and let cook slightly. Top with whatever toppings you like!
