Taco Cups

Equipment

  • 1 muffin tin
  • 1 skillet

Ingredients
  

  • 24 wonton wrappers or 6 egg roll wrappers cut into 4 3x3 squares
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • taco toppings like guacamole, cheese, sour cream

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400.
  • Prepare the taco meat by cooking the onion with a little salt for several minutes until soft.
  • Add the garlic with the taco seasoning and cook for a minute. Add another pinch of salt.
  • Add the taco meat and use a wooden spoon to break it down. Cook for 10 minutes until browned.
  • To make the taco 'shells' layer two wonton pieces or two egg roll wrappers per muffin. Overlap to cover the bottom. They will hang over the edge slightly. Bake for 3 minutes. Remove then evenly fill with the taco meat.
  • Bake for another 10 minites. Remove and let cook slightly. Top with whatever toppings you like!
