Tahini Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar *regular sugar works, see note
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix the wet ingredients with the sugar. The egg, maple, tahini, and vanilla with the coconut sugar.
  • Then mix the flours and a pinch of salt until just combined. Careful not to over mix. The stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Spoon into a greased or parchment lined 8x8 dish. Spread the batter evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove then cool.

Notes

  • you can use regular sugar over the maple or coconut sugar.  This will make it a lot sweeter, so I would half one of the other sugars.
