Mummy Rice Krispie Treats

Need a fun and yummy treat for Halloween? These little mummy rice Krispie treats are perfect. I made these for a pumpkin decorating party and they were a total hit. I am also planning to bring them to a Halloween party since everyone loved them.

These little rice Krispie treat mummies are the cutest and so easy to make. They are also so good. Who doesn’t love a rice Krispie? Add some melted white chocolate. Yes, please!

I love how simple these treats are. Sometimes the best is the easiest and this is definitely the case. Melt butter and marshmallows, then stir in the rice puffs. Any brand will do. Trader Joe’s makes a good one. Then set and decorate!

Ingredients needed for the Rice Krispie Treat Mummys

  • Rice Krispies or puffed rice cereal
  • marshmallows
  • butter
  • white chocolate
  • candy eyes (if you cant find them, you can use black & white frosting)

How to make Mummy Rice Krispies

  • Make the rice krispies per usual. Melt the butter then stir in the marshmallows until melted. Stir in the puffed rice cereal.
  • Press into a baking dish (got sidetracked but these are great too) and let set
  • Cut into rectangles or squares. I find smaller ones to be easier for guests.
  • Melt white chocoate. Dip the front of the mummy ‘head’ into the chocolate. Use the remainder to drizzle over the body.

Ingredients Method

Ingredients
  

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cups packed mini marshmallows make sure to pack them in the cup
  • 6 cups puffed rice cereal
  • 1 cup melted white chocolate
  • candy eyeballs or gel icing you can use for eyes
  • 1 tbsp melted coconut oil optional

Method
 

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the marshmallows. Stir until almost completely melted.
  3. Remove from heat and add the puffed rice ceral. Stir until combined.
  4. Press into a (parmchment lined) 8×11 baking dish. Let sit for 30 minutes
  5. Remove and cut into 24 rectangles or larger squares.
  6. Melt the white chocolate in the microwave in 30 second incriments, stirring inbetween rounds to get melted. I stir in 1 tbsp of melted coconut oil to get it a little more drippy.
  7. Dip the front of the head of the mummy into the chocolate. Then take the remainder of the white chocolate and drizzle to create the body. Press the eyeballs in or use gel icing to make eyes. Store in an airtight container.

Chicken Caesar Smashburger Tacos Mini street taco Chicken Caesar Smashburger Tacos

Mini street taco tortillas (or Mission low-carb), thin smashed ground chicken, and a simple Caesar salad on top. Crispy on the outside, juicy in the middle, and fresh from the salad.

We top ours with chopped Caesar salad, crispy bacon, and sometimes avocado. So good.

Mini street taco flour tortillas or @missionfoodsus low-carb tortillas
1 lb ground chicken
Salt, pepper, garlic powder
2 oz ground chicken per taco
Caesar salad
Cooked bacon, chopped (optional)
Avocado, diced (optional)

How to 
Season the ground chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Spread about 2 oz of ground chicken thinly onto each tortilla.
Heat a lightly oiled skillet over medium heat.
Place the tortilla meat-side down in the skillet and cook for about 3 minutes, pressing lightly so it stays flat.
Flip and cook another 2โ€“3 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked through.
Top with chopped Caesar salad, bacon, and avocado.
These Crispy Cornflake Chicken Tenders? My kids ar These Crispy Cornflake Chicken Tenders?
My kids are asking for them on repeat. 

Golden, crunchy, pantry-staples โ€” no flour, no deep frying. 

Just chicken, crushed cornflakes, a little BBQ sauce, some seasoningโ€ฆ into the air fryer (or oven) and dinner is handled.

Theyโ€™re easy and theyโ€™re kid-approved!

1 cup fontina cheese shredded
4 eggs 
1/4 cup milk
1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp salt
1 tablespoon butter melted
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

Instructions
preheat oven to 375 degrees
lightly grease a muffin tin
separate the biscuit dough cut each one into 8-10 cubes
in a large bowl, whisk the eggs.
add chopped ham and shredded fontina to the bowl. 
Gently folded in the cut biscuits
bake for 18 to 22 minutes until golden and cooked through adding about 5 extra minutes if needed
brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with parmesan

Total time about 25 minutes

Serve warm with jam on the side
